The Sabino Canyon Observatory : Asteroids


James McGaha is a very active asteroid observer and discoverer.  The Sabino Canyon Observatory was assigned Code 854 by the Minor Planet Center for the discovery of 1999 WC at the Observatory.  James has a total of 15 (fifteen) official asteroid discoveries, and he has recovered a lost Mars Crossing Asteroid 1992 SQ1.  He has recovered a total of 2 lost asteroids.  James currently has over 1300 Minor Planet Electronic Circular (MPEC) publications of astrometric data for near earth asteroids.  James has many International Astronomical Union Circulars (IAUCs) for various discoveries.
